Katharina Darisse

Meet Katharina Darisse, Founder of The Skill Shop. The Skill Shop is a sales and customer experience advisory and digital learning producer for organizations that want to improve their sales results and implement a customer-centric corporate culture.
Katharina was born and raised in Germany and is a graduate of the Hotel Management University, César Ritz, in Brig, Switzerland. Always keen on exploring new cultures, she launched her luxury hospitality sales career at the 526-room Kempinski Hotel Beijing Lufthansa Center in 2005. Tasked with opening a Regional Sales Office for Kempinski Hotels, she served 15 properties and gained experience in growing all market segments. She then returned to Beijing to lead the sales and event sales team as Director of Sales.
Most recently, Katharina joined The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Toronto to develop MICE travel (Meeting, Incentive Travel, Conferences and Exhibitions) from international markets as a business development manager.
With broad experience in sales and extensive knowledge on customer experience, Katharina is a passionate advocate and mentor for emerging sales leaders in hospitality and tourism.
