Julian Darisse is a highly regarded luxury hotel operations and brand experience expert with over 20 years of leadership experience across global hospitality markets. He is currently the Global Director of Brand Experience at Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, a part of Accor, where he shapes the brand's guest experience, service culture, and value proposition across an international portfolio. Julian is also the Founder and Managing Partner of The Skill Shop, a consultancy offering live training and digital learning solutions with a focus on sales, operations, and customer experience in hospitality.
Julian's career began as a bellman in Ottawa, Canada, and he has since led teams through major hotel pre-openings, renovations, and global events, including the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and six Toronto International Film Festivals from 2012 to 2018. As Assistant Vice President - Family Experience for Shangri-La Group in 2020, he further honed his expertise in enhancing service delivery for diverse guest segments. Julian is also a sought-after keynote speaker on brand strategy and customer experience at major hospitality conferences.
