Olga Sommer
Director of Revenue
Olga Sommer is the Director of Revenue for Nobu Hotel London.
Olga began working in the hospitality industry more than 20 years ago while she was at university in Estonia. As her experience grew, she was invited to work in a nearby hotel as part of the opening team for a new restaurant and then progressed to the front office. Upon graduating from university she decided to move to London, initially for a few years but since her career took off, you can still find her in the UK capital today.
While in London, Olga has worked for several prestigious 5-star properties in the Mayfair area including the British AA Red Star DUKES London, The Westbury Mayfair, Brown's Hotel Rocco Forte Hotels, and Ham Yard Hotel Firmdale Hotels. As well as the boutique luxury market she has also worked in corporate roles, being part of large organisations and international hotel chains such as Accor, Hilton, and Millennium Hotels and Resorts.
Olga’s wealth of experience and knowledge has seen her not only work in a range of hotels and corporations, but also achieve awards and accolades. While working at the Hotel Catey she won the 2016 Revenue Manager of the Year award, The Caterer Shortlist. Another achievement was securing an industry sponsored scholarship to study General Management at Cranfield University.
One of Olga’s biggest passions is passing her knowledge and experience to others. In her spare time, you can often find her involved in coaching, mentoring, and running training programmes for new talent entering the hospitality industry.
