With more than 10 years of experience in the hospitality world, Sofia has explored many different areas of the industry. From starting in the food and beverage department to making her way as a guest experience officer and reception supervisor, Sofia is now the front office manager at VP Plaza España Design, Madrid.
Sofia started in a 1019-room hotel in the food and beverage department. In 2012, she climbed the ladder and became part of the front office team in the same hotel. Her attention to detail and the positive feedback from guests helped her grow her career in the industry. She was then promoted as front office supervisor where she managed all training procedures and content for new team members. In 2016, Sofia was awarded Receptionist of the Year by the Amicale Internationale des Chefs de Réception (AICR).
Charismatic and empathetic, Sofia’s goal is to always provide great guest experiences and ensure positive feedback from customers and colleagues alike.
