Feras Ahmad

Feras Ahmad is a guest experience expert and the Director of Rooms at the Pullman Sydney Hyde Park. With more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Feras has worked for a variety of 5-star luxury hotels across the Middle East and Australia.
Feras started his career as a porter in 2002 which provided him with essential skills and knowledge for his future as a hotelier. Since then, Feras has joined a variety of leading hotel brands including Hyatt Regency, Rosewood, and Sofitel, leading each to success.
When he joined the Hyatt Regency Sydney, Feras led his team through the re-branding from Four Seasons by Sheraton to Hyatt Regency with the addition of a new tower making Hyatt Regency Sydney the biggest hotel (892 rooms) in the Sydney CBD. He also led the Rooms Upsell Revenue to rank in the top 5 Hyatt hotels in ASPA and saw membership enrollment place number 1 in Hyatt ASPA.
After his success with Hyatt, Feras joined the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth team where his skills and team leadership saw him awarded as leader of the quarter and employee of the year. He then assisted with the Rosewood pre-opening experience in Abu Dhabi and led his team to enhance the guest experience beyond the desirable level which saw the hotel classify as number 3 in the TripAdvisor Abu Dhabi within the first year of opening.
Feras currently works in the Pullman Hyde Park Sydney as part of the leading management to ‘sail’ the hotel through the COVID-19 pandemic. He has had the opportunity to not only be involved in Room Division but also in Culinary and Engineering which have prepared him in thinking outside the box and multi-tasking like no other role has.
