Grant van Gameren is one of the busiest chefs in Toronto. He is the owner of the Spanish-influenced Bar Isabel and pintxos restaurant, Bar Raval.
In 2016, Grant unveiled his mezcal bar El Rey alongside PrettyUgly, a cocktail bar. He also helped to revitalize the beloved Harry's Char Broil and Dining Lounge, which had been operating for 48 years before closing its doors. His latest project, Tennessee Tavern, draws inspiration from the culinary traditions of Eastern Europe and the Balkans.
Grant is preparing to launch a catering business, Victor Dries, in collaboration with chef Chris Brown of Citizen Catering.
