Also known as The Maestro, Salvatore Calabrese is one of the world’s leading bartenders. His talent and experience has led him to become an award-winning global powerhouse – a consultant to the bar industry and selected brands, a sought-after judge for worldwide competitions, and former President of the United Kingdom Bartenders’ Guild.

Known for his flair, style and presence, Salvatore’s passion for combining flavors began at an early age. By the age of 21, Salvatore was working in a restaurant and became the youngest Maitre D’ on the Amalfi Coast, where he had 27 people working under him. He then moved to London and found himself at Duke’s Hotel, where he developed a niche market for rare and aged cognacs, starting a concept he dubbed: Liquid History.

With more than 52 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Salvatore has made drinks for the rich and famous, from presidents to royalty and is regarded as one of the most influential figures in the modern drinks industry. His dedication and passion for creating cocktails has led him to win countless awards and built an outstanding reputation in the bartending industry.
