If you’re new to the coffee industry and not yet familiar with lingo like ‘extraction’ and ‘brew filter’, then communicating with your co-workers is going to be a challenge. While you’ll definitely learn a lot from listening to and observing your fellow baristas, it can help to have someone run through the main terms so you have a knowledge base to start with.
