Opening guidelines - after an outbreak

Issued by: Diversey

In the event of an outbreak, it's possible that your hotel venue may need to temporarily shut down, potentially for days or even weeks. Upon reopening, you may notice that things are different than they were before.

In the Opening guidelines - after an outbreak course, Diversey will discuss the key things you need to know about preparing to reopen; what to expect; and how to create and sustain a guest experience that feels both safe and welcoming.

By the end of this course you will be able to

  • Follow the four guidelines to support a successful reopening
  • Differentiate between normal cleaning and enhanced cleaning
  • Practice the five tips when completing enhanced cleaning tasks assigned
  • Wash hands before and after cleaning and disinfecting areas
  • Use and discard PPE
  • Recognize high-touch surfaces and clean them according to their frequency
  • Record compliance needs
  • Demonstrate reassurance by understanding a guest's journey
  • Apply the six key interactions with the help of a checklist for reassurance
