This version of the classic Martini was created in Lola’s West Hollywood. The restaurant is known for having one of LA’s first martini menus and became a popular spot for after-work drinks in the mid- to late ’90s. Lola’s owner, Loren Dunsworth, claims to have mixed up the first apple martini with some members of staff back in 1996 and ever since the drink has been a smash.
