Dr. Ioannis Pantelidis is a hospitality storyteller, consultant, mentor, and educator. He currently holds a number of prestigious positions in the hospitality and education sectors, including Chair for the Council of Hospitality Management Education; Director of the Association of North American Higher Education International; and Director of Postgraduate Research Studies at Brighton Doctoral College.

Ioannis’s passion for hospitality developed from a young age, having been born into a family of hoteliers and restaurateurs. He traveled Europe, holding a variety of management positions in luxury hotels, restaurants, and hospitality organizations. Through these experiences, he developed an enduring love for training and learning - a path which led him to academia, where he now does his most prolific work.

Ioannis has worked extensively as a consultant, teacher, and mentor, and has made significant contributions to a number of hospitality publications. This includes the SAGE journal Tourism and Hospitality Research, for which he serves as Hospitality Editor.

Dr. Pantelidis’ impressive and storied career working with both students and hospitality professionals is a testament to his love for the industry, learning, and mentorship.
