Pauline Nguyen is the owner and co-founder of Red Lantern, the most awarded Vietnamese restaurant in the world.
She overcame adverse beginnings, escaping Vietnam by boat with her family and surviving a refugee camp in Thailand, to become an award-winning entrepreneur, author and speaker.
Her memoir Secrets of the Red Lantern was a bestseller, while her first venture into theatre, The Serpent’s Table, was a crowd favorite at the 2014 Sydney Festival.
