Lesson details

Sebastian Priller is the head brewer at Riegele, a Bavarian brewery established in 1386 and named Best German Brewery in 2017.
As one of the oldest breweries in the world, Riegele has been making award-winning beers for over 600 years.

Given that beer is an integral part of German culture and that Sebastian comes from a family of brewers, it’s no surprise that he developed a love of beer after his first sip at just five years of age! He now holds the titles of World Champion of Beer Sommeliers for 2011 and Craft Brewer of the Year for 2017.

In this mentor session, Sebastian talks about the importance of passion, dedication and knowledge – the Riegele recipe for top-quality beer! By keeping these principles at the forefront of the business, Riegele has remained a prominent actor in the German beer market for centuries.

At Riegele, using the best ingredients for brewing is a given. But investing in staff takes precedence so that innovation can flourish in a transparent and creative environment.
